About Lundin Farmhouse

Immerse yourself in Highland luxury at Lundin Farmhouse, a beautifully renovated Victorian home which sleeps ten people in the heart of rural Perthshire, near Aberfeldy.

Set on a working farm and sporting estate with its own lochan, this is a Scottish home like no other. With its games room, two woodburning stoves, farmhouse kitchen, snug, sun room, underfloor heating and bedroom suites, you will feel like Laird or Lady of the Strath, if only for a few days.

The panoramic views of Strath Tay and Ben Lawers gradually unfold as you drive towards Lundin Farmhouse. Look for the Neolithic stone circle on the approach, which you can explore during your stay.

Living

The large front porch is ideal for muddy boots, dogs and people, with its utility room and adjoining shower room. As you enter the beating heart of this home – the magnificent open-plan living area and large farmhouse kitchen – you get the sense that every inch of the lodge has been considered. And indeed, it has, from the tiled floors with underfloor heating to the quality bed linen – as further exploration will reveal.

Kitchen and dining

The kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm for hungry adventurers back from a day of Highland pursuits, and there’s no need to limit your culinary aspirations here, as the cupboards contain an oyster knife, lobster crackers and a carving set – and anything else you could ever need. Dine on your creations at the large wooden table in the centre of the kitchen or in the designated dining area with its vaulted roundel ceiling. We doubt that even the beautiful decor and original artwork will be enough to distract you from the views, which are perfectly framed by the triple-aspect dining room windows.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The sleeping accommodation in this beautifully renovated Victorian home comprises five delightful bedrooms which all have zip-linked beds, meaning any configuration of twins and kings is possible. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, four of which are ensuite.

Outdoors

Outdoors, you can picnic by the rockery while spotting curlews, unwind in the hot tub or enjoy a barbecue by the fire pit in the sheltered courtyard. If even that sounds too much like hard work, why  not treat your group to a private dining experience? On a fine evening, eating on the deck by the lochan as the sun disappears behind the Perthshire hills is hard to beat.

Location

To fully experience the delights of living in this little slice of paradise, you could fish the farm’s lochan, have a go at paddle boarding or simply stroll around the estate. And if you can pull yourself away from the estate, Highland Perthshire offers an array of activities, day trips, eateries and unique experiences from summer watersports to skiing at Glenshee, and the bustling town of Aberfeldy is only two miles away.

However you choose to experience this magnificent lodge and estate, you are guaranteed to want to return to Lundin Farmhouse year after year.

March 2026
Exceptional property. Stylish and homely. Quality furnishings and some beautiful artwork around the house. We enjoyed the quiet location and beautiful mountain views. Aberfeldy was a short distance for shopping and cafes but we also had a great "Slow Lunch" at Ballintaggart Farm. Some of the party had a brilliant and educational tour at Aberfeldy Distillery, and we also loved the saunas at HotBox, Taymouth Marina. The Ferryman Inn there is also recommended. The lochan at the property was great for cold swimming and the contrast in the lovely warm hot tub was most welcome. A beautiful, calming two weeks. Great enclosed garden for our dogs so that they were safe and free.

We had a wonderful few days at Lundin farmhouse, thoroughly enjoyed by all 10 of us celebrating a special birthday. The farmhouse is a perfect space for such a group where we could be all together but ones and twos could equally find space for quiet time. The quality of fit out, facilities and finish is first class in all areas including bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen.

Beautiful house, lovely week spent celebrating a birthday and relaxing before the birth of two babies. Lots of fun in the garden and hot tub, and lots of walks in the surrounding fields. Would love to return.
