Seasgair Lodges

About us

Our story

The seeds of Seasgair Lodges were sown in 2016 when its founders, Judith Thurlow and Tanja Hughes, met for the first time. They soon realised they had been harbouring similar visions of a self catering property marketing and management business that would provide unrivalled service and quality for both guests and owners.

With Tanja’s background in surveying, hospitality and property development, and Judith’s customer care and management expertise, they had the ideal combination of skills. Most importantly, they shared the work ethic, ambition and passion necessary to get a fledgling business off the ground.

All Seasgair Lodges are cherry-picked, marketed and managed by the professional team Judith and Tanja have created, and every member of the Seasgair Lodges team is as dedicated and passionate as its founders. The business began life in the Cairngorms National Park, and it now offers premium and unique holiday homes in the most beautiful locations across the Scottish Highlands.

Nic, Director of Operations

Nic, a Chartered Surveyor, spent 18 years working in residential letting and property management in  Glasgow before moving to the village of Boat of Garten. It’s Nic’s job to ensure that when guests arrive, everything not only works but looks great, too, so she’s in regular contact with our lodge owners. Her keen interest in property development, refurbishment and construction means that she  has encyclopaedic knowledge of the inner workings of all our lodges. Nic loves cycling and playing  golf, and Nic and her husband own a holiday home themselves, so she understands first-hand what  property owners want and need from a management and marketing company.

When she’s not keeping things in order, you’ll find Jo enjoying local bike rides – especially those with a well-earned coffee and cake at the finish!

Lodge Checkers

Our team of hard-working lodge checkers make sure everything is precisely how we want it before  guests arrive, visiting every lodge after it has been cleaned to plump cushions, adjust the heating and take care of the little touches that make stays in our lodges so special.
